Nothing beats the thrill of hitting clay targets, making clay shooting a great experience to share with friends and family for a great day out – one that might also be the start of a new hobby!

Essex and Herts Shooting School grounds is the ideal venue for your clay shooting to have fun with friends and family, whether your novices or experienced shooters.

What To Expect

Throughout the session, you will be looked after and coached by our professional and experienced instructors who will show them how to shoot clays safely and accurately, while taking them through the finer points of the sport

All our package prices include a personal instructor, all the clays, cartridges and specialist equipment (unless you already own this), as well as the head, ear and eye protection.

We have air rifles and catapults on-site if you wish to use these instead and why not have some fun with a small friendly competition (prizes can be arranged for a small fee)

All we ask is that you wear comfortable clothing and footwear appropriate for a country walk.

All our equipment is top of the range and being a professional shooting ground we offer superior levels of instruction. We provide specialist low recoil cartridges and appropriate gun fit so that maximum comfort is ensured to all those shooting with us.

The Three Horse Shoe’s pub, Mole Hill Green is a traditional country pub only 5 minutes from the shooting school, who offer amazing set menus for clients of Essex & Herts Shooting School. Sandra & Mick have an outstanding reputation for their locally sourced produce & home cooked meals. You will also find them in the top 10 pubs in Essex.
